So new mommy P!nk is finally giving the public a glimpse of her little one, outside of the pages of People magazine.  To be fair, little Willow Sage is only about 8 weeks old.  It’s not like her Pinkness kept the baby hidden from us out of spite!  Especially if she’s breastfeeding, between that and the baby’s nap schedule she’s probably not getting out that much.  Also, Pink had a C-Section, and medically it takes about 8 weeks to recover from that, even if she is tough!  Pink’s been rocking Twitter, though — with posts like, “My life was once whiskey, tears & cigarettes.  Now it’s snot tears & the color of poop.  I do miss the whiskey though.”

I hear you, Pink!  I, too, regaled my family, friends and coworkers with the details of my baby girl’s poop habits – a little prune juice in the baby bottle cut with water will get things moving if they’re not!  And although whiskey was never my drink, I did miss my Chardonnay.  I had to time my wine consumption with Savannah’s feeding schedule so as not to get her inadvertantly drunk.  But it does get easier, honey.  In a few months when she starts holding her head up on her own you’ll be able to breathe again.

Willow Sage Hart.  What a cutie!  Hope to see more of her.

Three things I learned at “Women Who Rock” last night:

1. A room full of sweaty female musicians smells a hundred times better than a room full of sweaty male musicians. (I used to travel with all dudes. Pungent.)

2. I wish Henry the sound guy at River Street Jazz Café was my uncle. Dude’s a hoot. And he knows his sh!t.

3. NORTHEAST PA WOMEN ROCK!!!!!!

Rachel from The Weekender said this year was the best attendance they’ve ever had – yay! And the crowd was AMAZING! I think we raised a lot of good money for the Domestic Violence Service Center. Hope so :) And the musicianship? I was blown away. Thanks Kyle (K-Mak, our KRZ overnight guy) for videotaping my set! Here’s most of it (the beginning of the first song got cut off).

All songs are original except the last two.

What do you get when you combine 10 crazy women with the Backstreet Boys, New Kids on the Block and a non-stop flow of alcohol? You have MY WEEKEND!

Yeah, buddy…this is the weekend we take Heather and her 7 best friends to Hershey for the BSB/NKOTB concert. Will I survive the endless chit-chat over dresses, shoes and wedding cake toppers? Tune in Monday.

And if anyone wants to call or text me to talk NFL free agency or the baseball trading deadline, I’ll give you my cell number. I’m THAT desperate.

Have a great weekend. I know I will! :)

Have you ever been driving in a parking lot and the driver of another car makes a ridiculous, even goofy face at you? It’s all behind windows, which apparently makes them feel powerful. This morning I stopped at Old Navy to grab Boyfriend some t-shirts because all of his “good ones” are randomly stained with god knows what. . . It looks like a RUST stain . . . but it’s not like he works on old cars or anything. Who knows. So, I’m pulling out of the lot and this guy makes a face at me. A weird one. I didn’t even know how to react because it’s not like I was speeding, or not using a directional . . . I was so close to rolling down my window and asking what his problem was, but I just don’t have that confrontational bone in me. I’d much rather just drive away . . . and then sit here thinking all day . . . what could I have possibly done that made this dude act out all crazy? If only he wasn’t hiding behind his window, I just might know. Hmph.

First a ton of Youtube videos from military service men and women hit the internet asking celebs to their military balls. Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis both felt the pressure to go and agreed to. Now it’s GOT to be a tough time to be a celeb … since regular people have found a way to basically reach out to their favorite celeb and PLEA and PRESSUE them to do something for them. This girl wants Justin Bieber to go to her prom with her . . . and she claims she won’t stop campaigning until she hears back from him! Funny though, she kind of looks like his girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

Yay for Fridays! I need to do some seriously cleaning this weekend . . . and Sunday is Crue and Poison! If you’re going, come find me, i’m making jello shots and I share!:)

Today was DAY 2 of me talking to myself OUTLOUD for the entire ride to work. I think I might be going nuts . . .

I totally crashed out last night after watching The Bachelorette. Finally, I get why everyone gets so annoyed with Ashley. She’s finally annoying me too. She’s whiney, acts like a 13 year old, and is so overdramatic and fake about everything. Maybe her and JP deserve eachother. She might benefit from a controlling/jealous boyfriend. I went through that stage too  . . .  it lasted far too long . . . even after the college years . . . and thankfully, Boyfriend is the least jealous/controlling person ever, which i’m so thankful for.

. . . and just because I LOVE OLD PEOPLE . . . please say hello to the newly crowned Ms. Alabama Nursing Home 2011, Felma Schrimshire .  .  . 100 years young!

It’s a wonder to me - WHY do we bother brainstorming show topic ideas when the “E” network can spend an entire half hour on Kim Kardashian’s psoriasis? I think that’s how you know you’re officially out of ideas – when you start looking around the room going “Who’s got a growth? An infection? Deformity? What can we devote an entire show to and treat it like an emergency even though the rest of the world would just call it ‘life’?” That’s where the Kardashians are sitting right now. Next episode will be about somebody’s colon. Mark my words. (Of course this would be an appropriate time to point out that I still choose to WATCH the show – who’s got a gun to your head, Lissa? Nobody? That’s right.)

We have so many shows about nothing and famous people who DO nothing, I’ve decided to start doing less and less each day. According to the Kardashian business model, this should quadruple my income and hook me up with several tight-bodied pro athletes. I look forward to that.

I’m also gonna put less planning into our radio show. I’m just gonna turn on the mic and say things that are way too personal and semi-disgusting (oh wait, I already do that), thus making the audience kinda wanna vomit, but also feel a false sense of personal connection with me. For instance, today is Rusty Fender’s birthday. And Rocky has a slight stomach ache. In the world of non-tertainment I could make an entire two hour special out of that. Rocky, Sue, Rusty, Joe Snedeker, and I would all be gathered around the KRZ table eating birthday cake, and Brother Rock would get a wicked case of the runs. Drama would ensue. The KRZ house would be divided because Rusty’s birthday was RUINED by the thoughtless explosion of Rocky’s bowels.  Cue the sad music as Rocky & Rusty walk away from each other in slow motion. See? You can almost picture it, can’t you?

And if we ran out of toilet paper around the 45 minute mark, it could potentially be a  “To Be Continued….”. Ah, I can feel the zeroes being added to my bank account already! This is very exciting.

Our friend Randy Snedeker (that’s right, Joe’s brother) is attempting to break a Guinness World Record this weekend.  And the cool thing…you can be a part of it.

The record?

World’s LARGEST Outdoor Shower & Most People Showering at the same time!

Let me plant this image in your brain right now…150 of NEPA’s craziest, showering outdoors simultaneously.   You know that hard to reach spot on your lower back that never gets washed?  I’m thinking it won’t be a problem.

And this record breaking attempt benefits the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Center.

Here’s how you can be part of a WORLD RECORD:

Where:  McCann School of Business, Dickson City

When:  This Saturday, July 30, 10:30-3pm

Why:  To help the kids at St. Jude’s (and to be part of a World Record)

I finally saw the final Harry Potter on Friday night and I don’t think they could have made a better ending! Actually, because of it, I now have a special place in my heart for gingers. Red headed children are so freaking cute!

Look at that face!!! One of my best friend’s daughter turned 2 over the weekend . . . what a mushhhh cake face! It’s so incredible to watch little people grow up. Last year, I took 2 days off of work to help set up for Joelle’s first birthday . . . and it’s so hard to believe she’s already 2! Boyfriend and I went to LI on Saturday to be at her beach party! Unfortunately, I overdosed on the sun and started to feel really sick, so we cut our visit short. Maybe it’s mind over matter, but my visit to the dermatolgist last week has me all kinds of scared to be out in the sun for long periods of time.

We got back to PA and seriously crashed out with a small dose of sun poisoning. Ugh. The bright side? We woke up JUST IN TIME to catch fireworks on the lake! Fireworks are my fav! :)

Last night, my friend Tanya and I had a movie date and went to see Friends With Benefits! Not gonna lie, I cried. I laughed a lot, but I totally cried. It seems as though over time, i’ve become a total hopeless romantic who gets overly emotional in MOVIE THEATERS. It’s like I immerse myself in the story line and become the characters living the emotion-filled drama. I loved it. He made her life feel like a movie, what girl doesn’t LOVE that level of romantic gesture? Corny . . . a little. Sweet . . . most definitely.

I also experimented with CAKE POPS by Tanya’s request. The first batch tasted awesome (according to all of my lovely taste testing co-workers) but they weren’t as visually appealing as I hoped. I’m obviously going to have to try these again. I’ll post pics next time. :)
