OK, so I lost this week’s BEST HEAD contest.  Thanks to YOUR lack of support, my homemade Snooki mask was voted the worst!  And as loser, I had to work out with a Shake Weight while wearing my mask in front of the entire KRZ sales staff.

I made a purchase this morning that is going to take my secret Halloween costume to a new level.  I had a freaking BALL inside Jo-Ann Fabric in Edwardsville . . . by the way, all of their Halloween stuff for baking and decorating is all 60% off!

Moving on . . . I'm obsessed with the new Taylor Swift cd. It's so good and already on track to break all kinds of records for album sales! So it’s official. Got my new license & registration yesterday to make me an official Pennsylvanian instead of a Michigander! Yay! And I earrrrrrrned it, lemme tell ya. After three (yes THREE) trips to the DMV yesterday I finally have all my proper documentation and am feeling completely assimilated and content; I belong! I look forward to bitching about our local politicians and claiming to know the difference between pierogies and dumplings…….still a little fuzzy on that.

I LOVE this song. I like the idea of not really knowing where life is going to take you and dwelling in possibility, but let's be real at the same time . . . do guys really think like that? Picturing a wedding and a ring and a house with a dog?

I’m sitting here listening to Taylor Swift’s radio takeover and so taken by her new music. It’s so SWEET and kind of magical.  Her new cd SPEAK NOW is out today and on it is a song called “Dear John,” that we’re actually going to talk about on the show today. Since all of her songs are about different guys she’s dated, most people are assuming this song about John Mayer. The lyrics talk about 19 being kind of young, and he’s in his 30’s .  .  . we’ll get to it on the show today, but think about this. She writes all of these FAIRYTALE-like songs about love and guys, but what kind of relationship did she REALLY have with some of these guys and how much of it is a fairytale she’s just dreamed up to wrap up into a pretty song?
