Hey friends! Today is my Friday!
Isn’t that the best feeling? Ending the work week early? As much as I LOVE coming to work everyday, i’m long overdue for a few days off. One person can only take so much of Jeff’s whistling before hundreds of miles need to serparate the whistle from the ears. I’m heading back home to RI for a long weekend! 4th of July parties are on the agenda and some good quality time with family and friends. I’m really looking forward to it! I appreciate Rhode Island so much more, now that I don’t live there! I haven’t lived there since I left for college when I was 17, but now when I go to visit, i’ve realized it’s such a charming place.
Did you hear that our very own Mr. Manly is a part of this year’s DANCING WITH THE NEPA STARS?! There’s a whole facebook page devoted to him and his twinkle toes!
He’s been working super hard on his mooooooooooooooooooooves!
Have a great holiday weekend! Be safe! See you Tuesday!
Built like a football player @ 6′ 3″ and 250, WWE wrestler stopped by before his big Smackdown appearance @ the Arena to talk wrestling, show off his bling, and sign Sue’s cast!
GRANDPA GAGA BUSTS A MOVE
Here’s the video we were talking about. Gramps must be spiking his Metamucil with some Captain Morgan! Go Grandpa!!!
OUR DOG IN FORMAL WEAR
Here’s the photo of our dog Milo we were talking about this morning. You decide: Does he look happy to be wearing a tux?
HELLO TO LISSA!
Meet the newest member of the Rocky & Sue Show!
Her name is Lissa, she’s from Michigan and there’s something about her that isn’t quite right.
SUE’S COUNTDOWN
The countdown is on! This Wednesday marks the 1 week point for Sue’s cast. After rupturing her Achilles in the KRZ Kickball tourney a few weeks ago, she’s got about 7 weeks to go. Tick…tick…tick…
Last night at the B.E.T awards in Los Angeles Chris Brown paid tribute to Michael Jackson literally blowing away the audience until the end. That’s when emotion overcame the performer to the point where he could not continue. There are many questions surrounding this performance and if his emotional breakdown was just an act, or is Chris Brown not as big as a monster in which everyone has rightfully portrayed him to be? Is there a certain point where we can forgive him? Is this the time? Let me know what you think…
My hatred for Chris Brown after the Rihanna incident completley made me forget what a great performer he is. I’m still not his biggest fan after the way he treated her, but check out his moves on BET. Around the 4 minute mark, he even starts crying when he’s supposed to start singing Man in the Mirror. A new side of Chris Brown . . . what do you think? He couldn’t even CHOKE out the words because he got so emotional. I want to believe that it was genuine. I actually do.
It takes a special kind of person to flip off a total stranger who is just going about their day and driving like a normal person. Saturday morning I driving in Wilkes Barre, going to run some errands before I met up with a friend to see GROWN UPS! Behind me was this huge black truck with a young-ish couple inside. Probably in their 30’s. The light in front of me was about to turn red and thing truck was FLYING behind me honking their horn for me to go through the light. So I did. I figured I got on this trucks good side. Wrong. They had total road rage (on a Saturday morning) for no apparent reason. I mean, i’m not driving like a 90 year old, nor am I not using my directionals or anything. For the next half mile, this truck pretty much HARASSED me on the road and finally went speeding my be in a parking lot flipping me off. Who does that? For no reason!? Friend, if by chance you happen to read this. You need a massage, a beer, and a chill pill.
By the way, Grown Ups was hilarious. I was laughing out loud so hard from the very start. Adam Sandler was surpisingly sexy, too.
I spent Saturday night babysitting for my boss. His kids are so cute and they get more and more fun the older they get. I brought over ceramic magnets and we painted them. Super Babysitter.
Monday always seems to creep up on us. . . especially in the summer! It’s going to be a short week for me and I’m so looking forward to spending some time at home in RI for the 4th!
We’re real excited about the newest member of the Rocky & Sue Show. And it’s time you get introduced to this person. Here they are, captured on film for the very first time.
Hey friends! YAY Friday! Last night I had a couple friends over for wine . . . and to finish the jello shots left over from the weekend. Ooooooof. Probably not the best idea I’ve ever had for a Thursday! The night ended with me and my landlord facebook stalking everyone and their cousin. That always seems like the best thing to do when you’re wine tipsy at midnight. I neglected the blog yesterday, but I did go out with Blackberry Boy again on Wednesday night. We went for drinks and then to see the new Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise movie, Knight and Day. He’s a nice guy . . . and to be surprise, that’s starting to become my “type.” I’m glad i’m outgrowing the ‘bad boy’ phase of my life. We talked about this on the air the other day and I a reformed bad boy is exactly what the doctor ordered!
Knight and Day was good. Lots of action . . . but I wanted a little more back story. I feel like I didn’t know enough about the reason behind the plot to actually care.
Have a great weekend!
I’m babysitting for the boss tomorrow night. Sometimes it’s nice to spend a Saturday with tiny people and Blues Clues! I’ll take pics – they are freaking so cute and a great big dose of birth control!
