I finally found my camera cord . . . so i’m playing catch up with pics. Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! My mom came in for the weekend from RI. She cooked an entire Thanksgiving dinner in my little apartment kitchen. I invited a couple friends over and we had a nice chill day. Sometimes I wish I had a huge family and then I remember how much drama I hear those can be on holidays. I’ll just enjoy my cosmos and quiet holidays! :)

We went down to Allentown on Saturday to see Saving Abel at the Crocodile Rock. The night ended with me fighting with the vending machine. The waters were all STUCK INSIDE and we were THIRSTY! Voila . . .

Me and my friend Tanya at my favorite little place in Allentown before the concert. It’s called Allentown Brew Works and I totally suggest the Pomegranate Martinis if you’re in the area!

A number of websites post the sale items and prices ahead of time –even actual copies of the retail advertising circulars typically inserted in the Thanksgiving Day newspapers. Some prices are those early bird deals available for just a limited time Friday morning.

ANOTHER GREAT JOB BY THE KITCHEN CREW

Awesome job by this year’s team of volunteers @ the St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen in WB.  You helped slice & dice 100 lbs. of potatoes, 500 lbs. of stuffing, 150 lbs. of onions and 1500 lbs. of turkey.  Over 800 will be served this year, including 600 homebound.  The kitchen @ 39 East Jackson St can always use the help.  Food, clothing & cash donations are accepted year round.  And if you’d like to volunteer to deliver meals to the homebound on Thanksgiving, call 829.7796.

BUSY WEEKEND
Wow! What a turnout @ all the events this weekend. Friday nite’s TSO show @ the Arena was SOLD OUT! If you went, you saw another amazing show, and helped to raise over $7000 for the Marine Corps TOYS FOR TOTS campaign. When Sue and I were on stage with Chris & Jay from TSO we got chills. What a sight seeing the Arena @ capacity. Great job!

Saturday we hit the streets of Scranton for the Annual Santa Parade. If you were there, you saw the new & improved KRZ Envoy. The mild weather brought out another great crowd. We bumped into Mayor Dougherty before the parade started and the first thing he wanted to know was “Did you guys bring the toilets with you?”. If he ever becomes Guv of PA, he will always remember us for the Potties of Gold from the St. Pat’s parade a few yrs back.

Sunday Stanton Lanes in WB was packed with bowlers for TURKEY BOWLING. Shout out to lane #40 who had the high score and the single most strikes by a bowler. And thanks for helping to feed the hungry.

THIS MIGHT BE THE VIDEO OF THE YEAR!!!

OK, I was wrong in yesterday’s Blog.  The Bud Adams “Flippin’ the Double Bird” was funny, but this one is even better.  It just another reason I can’t stand cats.  This poor cop wants nothing to do with this feline and the thing won’t leave him alone!

DRIVE-THRU DROP-OFF
Thanks for stopping by Dunkin Donuts in WB this morning & helping out the St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen.   Sue, Snuggy @ the DD Cup worked the drive-thru and collected almost $500! Nice work.

We took the Spotlight Lounge to the Wachovia Arena and Daughtry came out to sing a couple songs to a group of KRZ winners before his show last night. Cavo and Theory of a Deadman rocked it too! Something I will never understand . . . how do people SIT during a show like Theory of a Deadman and Daughtry? I want to be up, dancing, arms in the air . . . screaming . . . :) but it’s like, the majority of people are sitting down and get mad at you when you stand up. I guess I belong down in the pit where I can get crazy!
